Speech and Language Therapists — Hackney

ASEND are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to work with a 7-year-old at his home in Hackney. He is autistic and has Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). This young person is intelligent and has a great sense of humour. He is passionate about his hobbies including an interest in robots. He requires 36 hours of direct input of Speech and Language Therapy per academic year.

Requirements:

• Experience providing support to children with special educational needs such as Autism and PDA (essential).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• HCPC registration and a Speech and Language Therapy degree (essential).
