Role Overview

  • Location: Remote (UK-based) with regular travel to London

Make a Lasting Difference in SEND

Join ASEND and help us build an exceptional network of SEND professionals who are making a genuine, lasting difference in the lives of children and young people across the UK.

We are looking for an organized, proactive, and relationship-driven Recruitment Executive (Consultancy). In this 360-degree role, you will take ownership of recruitment campaigns – sourcing and onboarding specialist consultants, including Educational Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Dyslexia Specialists, and SENCOs.

Rather than just processing paperwork, this position is an exciting opportunity to build meaningful relationships, take ownership of end-to-end recruitment campaigns, work within a purpose-driven organisation, and develop deep expertise in specialist education recruitment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Attracting specialists: using LinkedIn, Indeed, and specialist boards, writing engaging adverts, reviewing applications, and conducting interviews.
  • Safeguarding & Compliance: Guiding consultants through onboarding – handling DBS applications, Right to Work checks, reference checks, and video verification calls to ensure rigorous Safer Recruitment standards.
  • Client & Assignment Coordination: Gathering detailed vacancy requirements, presenting candidate profiles and rates, arranging start dates, issuing assignment details, and managing smooth transitions into roles.
  • Relationship Management: Managing client and consultant enquiries, organising assessments, introducing specialists to clients and sending weekly progress updates.
  • Operations & Tracking: Keeping internal trackers (including Airtable and other interfaces) accurate and up to date.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Background in recruitment, recruitment administration, or compliance (experience in education, SEND, or healthcare is a big plus!).
  • Communication: Confident, personable, and professional when speaking to candidates, Local Authorities, and school clients.
  • Organisation: Meticulous attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and comfort managing spreadsheets, databases, and CRMs.
  • Drive: A proactive self-starter who takes initiative, solves problems quickly, and cares deeply about delivering compliant, high-quality service.

Benefits & What We Offer

  • £28,000 – £30,000 per annum.
  • Full-time work-from-home opportunity with equipment provided – with regular opportunities to meet colleagues and attend events in London.
  • Meaningful Work – Play a key role in improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND across the UK.
