We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to work with a 17-year-old at his School in Stevenage. This young person has both complex medical and physical needs. His diagnosis of Mutation of NKX6-2 with associated motor deterioration, communication difficulties, altered sensory processing, and health needs give rise to ongoing, daily challenges which impact significantly on his access to his environment. He requires regular ongoing physiotherapy to prevent delay progression of musculoskeletal difficulties, to maintain gross motor skills, and develop further strength and stability. A total of 20 hours of physiotherapy is required per year.
The right candidate will have experience working with young people with disabilities. Registration with HCPC is also essential.
