Occupational Therapists — Portsmouth

ASEND Job Opportunity

ASEND are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with a 14-year-old at his home in Portsmouth. He is autistic and has PDA as well as Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. He requires 45 minutes of Occupational Therapy per week. The Occupational Therapist will also provide training and support to further up-skill the mentor working with this young person, in relation to his sensory and motor skills.

Requirements

• Experience providing support to children with special educational needs such as Autism and PDA (essential).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• HCPC registration and an Occupational Therapy degree.
• The OT will be a Sensory Integration practitioner (essential).
