There are over 2 million vulnerable young people in the UK with additional needs who face barriers in learning and development. ASEND was founded to help bridge that gap. For over 15 years, we’ve been building a leading network of SEND specialists who support children and young people with SEN/SEND ranging from SEMH needs, MLD, SLD and PMLD. This includes therapists and consultants who play a vital role in understanding need, shaping provision, and improving outcomes. We believe in child-centred, transformative support, and we’re looking for skilled professionals to help us deliver it. Join us and be part of something meaningful.
Interviews and conversations are being scheduled on a rolling basis. Apply now and start making a difference. We are keen to hear from candidates from all backgrounds. The UK’s vulnerable children are disproportionately from minority and LGBTQIA+ communities, as well as people with disabilities, refugees and migrants, and people living with mental health conditions. It is integral to our mission that our team reflects the experiences of the young people we support. We take Safer Recruitment seriously. All candidates must pass through our safer recruitment process to ensure their suitability to work with children and young people. Due to the number of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to every applicant. We aim to respond to all successful applicants within two weeks.
