About this young person and your role

  • Location: Fleet, Hampshire – in person
  • Hours: A 2 hour session, once a week (therapy will need to be during school hours). September start.
  • Young person: This young person is 14 years old and has an EHCP. She will receive support at her school in Fleet, Hampshire. She has social, emotional and mental health needs. She is interested in becoming an actor in the future, once she has finished school.

What we’re looking for in a Drama Therapist

Essential:

  • HCPC registration: You must hold current HCPC registration as a Drama Therapist.
  • Experience with children: Experience providing therapy to children and young people, ideally with SEND.
  • Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding processes and a commitment to promoting the health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people at all times.
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can help you obtain this) and 2 professional references.
  • Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in schools or educational settings
  • Experience writing reports for EHCPs, first-tier tribunals, and appeals
  • Familiarity with a range of SEND needs including autism (ASD/ASC), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, MLD, SLD, and PMLD

Employment type:

This is a self-employed role, giving you the freedom to choose your hours and manage your own schedule, backed by the full support of our team.
