Speech and Language Therapists — Portsmouth

ASEND Job Opportunity

ASEND is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to work with a 14-year-old at his home in Portsmouth. He is autistic and has PDA as well as Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. His provision includes 30-45 minutes of Speech and Language Therapy, twice a week. The Speech and Language Therapist will also provide training and support to further up-skill the mentor working with this young person, in relation to his sensory and motor skills.

Requirements

• Experience providing support to children with special educational needs such as autism and PDA (essential).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• HCPC registration and a Speech and Language Therapy degree.
